Brilliant value, staff were superb and rooms were comfy and no issues with noise. Location to OVO hydro was the main reason for our stay and will be back when we return to the hydro. Breakfast was good value (£10 when we booked the night before)via the qr code in the room menu. We arrived and were told the restaurant didn't have availability for a meal until half 6 although once we went down to the bar for a drink we discovered that there was a bar menu so we managed to get food from that. We had the BBQ bucket platter XL and pepperoni flatbread, both were great as we shared with our group of 4 and was more than enough to go round. we had a hotel full of MMA fighters so breakfast items were limited due to the amount they were eating 😂 although this isn't the hotels fault. Overall I had a really good stay and the staff were amazing. We needed to change from a double room to a twin although this wasn't possible they managed to put 2 double beds into one of the rooms so we were delighted with this. I didn't catch her name but the woman on the desk Friday around 4pm when we checked in and also Saturday about 1045 when we left couldn't have done any more for us. Well done team.

The location is spot on for going to anything at the Ovo! Literally a wee toddle over the water and you're there! Bus stop right outside that take you into the city or can taxi it super easily. Parking was great and huge car park so no drama in arriving! The vibe of the place is great. We were going to see Slipknot and lots of other metal heads but mixed with football supporters and Christmas shoppers. Was so friendly and chill! The facilities were great, the pool especially! We stayed in the Club room and absolutely kicked the arse out of the use of the pool, sauna and steam room. All the staff were lovely and the night security/ porters were absolute banter!

1st time staying at Villiage as we were going to a show in the Armedillo, and it was perfect! Super busy place , we had booked a Double room but upon check in we were kindly given an upgrade to a room with 2 beds and free access to the leisure facilities. Room was large and very very comfortable, beds comfy, room was nice and warm on arrival, huge tv on the wall and lovely bathroom. We had some drinks in the bar before going out, again busy but lovely atmosphere. We did not get a chance to go for a swim but we can't wait too return and spend more time in the hotel. There is also a starbucks across from reception. See you again soon 😊

We've stayed in Village Hotels over many years mainly in Manchester area and loved them do when we had the chance to stay in Glasgow it was a no-brainer. We were huge impressed from the minute we came in, from decor and Reception to the rooms and leisure facilities. However the slight downside was the Buffet breakfast we tad to look for someone at the desk and we found the layout of the food a bit haphazard and unfortunate the food itself although good quality and plenty of it, was a bit on the cold side. Overall however this would in no way prevent us from returning 👍

I first off wanted to highlight the lovely Leanne who made me feel very welcome on arriving. She took interest into my staying at the hotel and we also had a nice general chat at the desk. On arrival the hotel smelt very clean and my room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Everything I needed in both the bedroom and bathroom areas. I want to highlight Blanch in the pub/restaurant who delivered exceptional service and checked in on me a few times during my lunch yesterday. Overall, my stay was great, as it was the year before.
